Probation is a privilege granted by the court as an alternative to jail time. We focus on holding probationers accountable to the courts and to the community by providing them with the opportunity to be accountable for their actions. This may be accomplished by performing public service work, paying a fine, maintaining good behavior, and reporting regularly to a probation officer.
The Office of Probation Services provided effective supervision of the offenders through rehabilitation, accountability and enforcement. We are committed to providing quality service to the courts and to the offenders to ensure a safer community.
