Cornelia City Park

Big City Park

Cornelia City Park is located on Wyly Street and is often referred to as “Big City Park.” With 20+ acres, it is the City’s largest park. The covered pavilion near the entrance is very popular.

The new restrooms and improved Pavilion area are open. Please be considerate of others and help us keep them clean!

Walking Trail

The new walking trail is open and is a great addition to the park. The combined paved trail is 3/5 mile that includes wooden foot-bridges – round trip 1 1/5 miles! The trail is handicapped accessible and so far dog friendly. (Please clean up after your dog so the park trail can remain dog friendly!) The Garden Club labeled some of the plants so you can learn a little about local fauna while you stroll through the trail. Parking is at the entrance of the park or off of LaVista. The trail is a great upgrade to the park and you should go try it out! Our extension of the trail is complete! Check it out, it is a good addition for the City of Cornelia.
