The City of Cornelia Fire Marshal works to keep the citizens and visitors of the city safe by enforcing Fire and Life Safety Codes. He conducts plan reviews for new occupancy and inspects new and existing businesses. The Fire Marshal’s Office works hand in hand with The City Building Official and Code Enforcement to ensure the safety of everyone who lives and visits Cornelia. The Fire marshal also oversees Public Safety Education and conducts Fire Investigations.
