The City of Cornelia Fire Inspector is dedicated to protecting our citizens and visitors by strictly enforcing Fire and Life Safety Codes. This office plays a critical role in city development, conducting detailed plan reviews for new occupancies and performing regular inspections of both new and existing businesses.
Safety in Cornelia is a team effort. The Fire Inspector works hand-in-hand with the City Building Official and Code Enforcement to ensure that every building meets the highest standards of safety. Beyond enforcement, the Fire Inspector also oversees Public Safety Education programs and leads Fire Investigations when necessary.
