It is preferred that station tours be scheduled 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday in order to best accommodate the firefighters daily schedule. Tours can be scheduled for the late afternoon hours for groups that only meet during this time. No station tours will be given on Sundays or after 7p.m any day. It is requested that all station tour requests occur at a minimum of one week prior to the desired date. Also, please keep in mind that the firefighters are on-duty during the tour and in the event of an emergency will have to depart quickly. Another tour can be scheduled, if necessary. Governor Brian Kemp issued a new State of Emergency order for all counties in Georgia in preparation for another winter storm this weekend. As the storm moves through the state beginning Saturday morning, wintry precipitation is expected throughout North and Central Georgia. The State of Emergency went effect on Friday, January 30, and will run through February 6, 2026.
